I just blink my eyes and I am back here in SF, walking to coffee and running into a ton of people along the way.
My tiny room is delightful and I am grateful for the offer to live here for a few months. It's rare that you get to come back to a city like this and actually redefine your life so much, simply by living in a new neighborhood. I was nervous last night, but today I feel great. Matthew gave me a tour of the house, Claire and David are across the hall, Adriana is often 2 doors down and Henry plus a new puppy welcomed me as I was brushing my teeth. Things are pretty good...
I am off to the Maker Faire today, excited to see some friends and check stuff out. I will most likely be home tonight organizing and getting my life together for class in the morning.
I already miss Portland, but it's really nice to be back.
