(Let's see how many references to their lyrics I can put in here, shall we?)
It was a beautiful night in Malmö, even though it started raining, and as mentioned in the previous post bestest cousin Mimi and I went to see wonderful Billie the Vision & the Dancers at KB. After taking in some nutrition (mostly trans fat) at Chinabox, where I also grossed Mimi out by eating my fried shrimps like a Neanderthal, assuming fried shrimps had been a part of their diet, an experience which could possibly have turned her into a strict veggie-vegetarian again (Mwaha!), we headed off to find the venue in question.
Prescient as we are, we had a map with us so finding our way was a piece of cake. Instead we got there 20 minutes before admission and were so among the first 10 to arrive. Status. Not that we got much out of it other than freezing our behinds off in the rain.
Once inside we grabbed a table at the back, right in front of the stage, and since KB is a rather small venue 'in the back' means about 10 metres away. Listening politely to the opening act called It's A Musical, who were kind of catchy too. The drummer impressed me. Think he was German.
Then we got drunk at a venue in Malmö! Well, not exactly true. Mimi was just a bit tipsy and the only thing I was suffering was an endorphin high.
In order to not make this another one of those long repetitive rants describing the brilliance of and the totally outright hyperness which followed upon the entrance of Billie the Vision & the Dancers on stage, which it always seems to develop into in verbal form, I’ll let the reader use his/her own imagination to insert something full of superlatives. Some people deserves a salute! It was fantastic, is all I’m going to say. And Mimi did enjoy herself, icing on the cake to see her as excited as I was. A crowd formed in front of us and since we weren’t there to watch the others party we had to get up from our seats. If you stay seated during a concert there’s something desperately wrong with you anyway. Besides,/And we wanted to (couldn’t help but) dance!
They played a 21 (the perfect number, naturally) song setlist and the three songs I’d mentioned in my previous post where all played! Summercat came under the encore which made it extra special. Is it just me or is the encore just the best part of any gig?
Lots and lots of clips have been uploaded to YouTube already so I’ll share one with you here containing Summercat and Nightmares.

Tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight!
How about the day after? My left ear was aching, my throat had gone sore from all the (false and possibly high-pitch) singing, my brain felt like it was going to burst through my temples during early morning classes due to the lack of sleep. I slept with hairspray still in my hair and makeup on. I probably smelled like shit. But who cares, because what a night!
(For those counting that was six different references, the “Tonight, tonight..” quote and title not included!)

I had a full day with Mimi that day, thanks to the fact that she managed to finish of early at school, which was great! We had coffee and cakes at Cecil and went for a little (for me turned out to be a rather expensive) shopping spree which resulted in a beautiful dress for her and a sweater and a vest with unbelievable fit for me. It was said I was supposed to style her hair but somehow she ended up doing mine. Bet she realized I was in more need of help than her. I swear, my hair hasn’t been that pampered in years! I usually just pull my brush through it thrice and then I’m done. She did a very good job with it, thanksies coz!
Today I might, depending on a various of factors, meet up with Cesse, Emma and Julian. He’s apparently got really good at Swedish. Looking forward to seeing them all!
