I don't think I've ever been busier than how I was for the past few weeks. I can't even imagine how it all happened in just a month's time.
To start, our mom had an operation to remove a cyst from her leg. It's been there for ages and gladly she had it removed for good. It was initially diagnosed as benign since the cyst had been there for 30 years now. But now after the biopsy of the cyst they removed, they said that it was malignant and that she has to go through another 6 weeks of radio therapy (or something that sounded like it) daily! At least, they don't have to open up her leg once again. I hope everything goes well.
Next, we went to a wedding in Tarlac. My mom's godchild's. It's not something I really had fun participating in but since it's one of the things that ate up my April weekends then it deserved a spot in this post.
Then we moved to our new house the day after. It's still in Las Pinas and actually just 2 tricycle rides away from our old place. The village is way way better and the good thing is we've been familiar with it since I was 3. The reason is because our new place is beside my aunt's house.
And within days after that, my brother and his girlfriend Siew Jin arrived here in Manila. Why? Because we had to attend our sister's graduation and we all wanted to be there. Why? Because she will be marching as one of the two Magna Cum Laudes that will be graduating from her batch across all colleges in her university. Awesome right? Who knew the pesky little spoiled brat had it in her haha. Boy were we proud! :D
Of course, we had to go somewhere to tour our visitor so we went to Tagaytay. There, we rode horses in a field where manure bloomed a-plenty, ate mushroom burgers til we got high, and took the zipline superman ride for an even more exhilarating 'high'. It was fun! You have to try it :)
Aaaaaand there goes my April!
