For eons, humans have been trying to define the concept of love. At it's most base, it is a series of molecular reactions that have formed cells for the purpose of releasing certain chemicals in the body that create pleasure and attraction to others who (somewhat randomly) generate the desire to procreate and maintain the species. I cannot recall the first time that this happened, but it is surely one of the best biological processes that humans have ever evolved to create.
