So... a friend of mine recently asked me if I was going to Anime Boston this year. (He has a hotel lined up and wants to know if I want in, how sweet!) I rather hated the con the one year I went, what with me being terrible with crowds and all that... but I didn't exactly say no. I said I would think about it.

I have thought about it and here is what I am thinking:

I will get a one-day ticket for the con (probably Sunday) but spend the rest of the time (re)exploring Boston. I am going to wander through the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum and geek out over tapestries instead of animes. I am going on one of those "historic tours" I never have time for so I can geek over Founders instead of, say, Sailor Scouts. I will go to Quincy Market and indulge in baked goods instead of Pokemon plushies.

I might even do this in costume, who knows.

Sound like a plan?

(I might even take a day trip to the Adams National Park in Quincy and be really geeky about my founder of choice... instead of geeking over Juri from Utena, I guess?)
