April Foolery plus sweetness
I played a great April Fools joke on Daniel and Mike.
So I'm talking to Daniel online and I suddenly decide to tell him I'm pregnant and that I have an abortion scheduled for tomorrow. He buys it, flips out a little, starts asking me questions, then I come out with "APRIL FOOLS!" and laugh a lot.
The Mike starts talking to me and I decide to pull the same prank. He asks Daniel if it's true and Daniel pretends he's shocked by the info.
This probably seems like a story that is small and insignificant. Here's the point of my story:
Daniel started e-mailing his professor while the joke was happening to tell him that he wouldn't be able to go to class or teach tomorrow. He wanted to come with me to get an abortion right after I told him.
When I told Mike, he called me right away to make sure I was alright.
So the point is I have fucking awesome friends. I mean I was pretty amazed at how concerned and sweet they were. I even felt kinda bad about the trick (but they thought it was funny so it's cool). It's a really good feeling to know your friends are there when you need them and without asking them. I was pretty impressed.
Sometimes I just really think about the people I care about that care about me and I get all warm and fuzzy inside. I have great friends.
This ended up sounding pretty corny but nice things sound that way sometimes.
