Challenge ideas

I made it a rule with myself (no one else has to follow this) that if I create a challenge, I'm not allowed to participate in it.  I'd really like to actually do a challenge so if anyone comes up with an idea for an icon/banner/writing/etc challenge, please feel free to post your ideas here or simply email me

Um yeah that wasn't really the question because I did state that it was my personal rule for myself. I honestly don't expect anyone to do that rule themselves because it's honestly up to that person. The REAL question was if anyone had any ideas...

Cross-movie sig... hmmm that is definitely a possibility as long as it all remains appropriate and kid friendly. But that's kind of normal and expected. Well, if you have an idea for a contest by all means get one going. I definitely have no objection that idea.

And this is where I am really going to come across as a prat for the simple fact that to me, foreign languages are not codes. After all, if that was the case, the morse code should be considered a foreign language and it isn't. Plus, I don't want someone to start posting icons in chatspeak. That would drive me crazy.

Foreign language would be anything from English (for non-native speakers) to Lushootseed, Arabic, Thai, German, Russian, Igbo, Wolof, Swahili, Portugese, Inuit... actual foreign languages.

For instance:
"Tuwe tayari kuilinda!" - Swahili
"Cha kanam!" - Wolof
"Duai Raeng Lae Phalang Nai Jai An Maak maai." - Thai
"Volimte!" - Bosnian
"Dir gehört mein Herz." - German
ให้กำลังใจ - Thai (characters)
تعال معي! - Arabic (script)
"Ta'ala ma'ee" - Arabic (same as above)
ʔəsx̌aƛ̕tubicid čəd - Lushootseed

Stuff like that. :/
