update on me

well this school year has been goin great. i guess u could call it the best so far in my high skool career. i am the new acoustic gutiar player for Oneway at church and that has helped me grow closer to God and help serve him through music. we went on a retreat that we call FDR (this is our big event of the year). we talked about drifting away from our faith and how to come back to it. we could all agree that we drift away from our faith and that we dont like to talk about. well, i got this new cd and it has this song on it called "I'm Not Alright" on it and on the inside of the cd case is has the story behind each of the songs. this really hit home to what ive found of a lot of us deal it. the story is that the band Sanctus Real was going through hard times and they would say "they were fine" well after a few emotional realizations and meetings they realized that they were not alright and broken inside. also there has been a song on my heart called "My Desire" that talks about a prayer of God showing wat his desire is for our lives and us wanted to know and being excited about it. its a really encouraging songs if you want to find your purpose or ministry. newayz...........i guess that it had helped me realize when i drift and need to come back. besides all that school has been goin good. i pretty much like all of my classes. ive recently gotten into a realationship with a girl from church (wow she is amazing). its a long story about us but thats for another time. but ya shes great. hopefully this year will continue to be good and that i wont drift from God and become as close as i can get to him. thats wat has been goin on with me since the beginning of the school year. hopefully lj can get back started again.
