Behind every superhero there seems to be someone better or someone who made them special. In spiderman it was the spider. How come he gets no recognition. umm... i guess ill deal with these in reverse order... first... Jesus did not need the sick and hurting to be "famous" ... the main reason i am saying this is that i dont want you to rhetorically transform that logic into thinking that thats why evil is around... cuz like if no one was hurting or sick or ill then there would be no compassion and stuff like that... i hate when people say that, people are sick and dying and there is evil becuase of sin, which is a result of free will... hmmm... the spider... well it could be because the spider was out to do benevolent work... so we judge it as something bad that good happened to come out of... and superman's parents get tons of credit... mainly from superman... but that causes us to respect them as well...
the reason that creators dont get the same respect as performers is that thats just not what our society values... our society values accomplishment... thats the whole protestant work ethic heritage mixed with capitolism... coaches will never get paid as much as the players they coach... however if they repeatedly succeed they can move up the ladder as well.. if the spdier went around biting hundreds of people and all of them turned into a spiderman we'd think that spider was pretty cool
