Hey, remember last year when I was obsessed with those brown-and-white Marimekko Himmeli sheets from Crate and Barrel, and I looked ALL OVER THE UNIVERSE FOR THEM, and I irritated Bill because really, how could anyone care so much about sheets?
I was at the Crate and Barrel Outlet today (did you know we have one of these? It's on a scary part of Inwood) looking for Christmas Project Supplies and they just happened to be sitting on top of a basket of discounted cloth napkins and priced at 50% off.
That is one of the main caveats of Christmas shopping for me, or any kind of other-purpose shopping--I always stumble across a bargain on some item for myself that I was not in the market for, but can't pass up.
I am EXTRA SUPER EXCITED about my Christmas Project now, too, but first I have to make a stupid-ass AP Euro Final Exam. And that is not nearly as easy at it sounds. Actually it doesn't even SOUND easy. Drat. Stupid Ironic Personal Day.
