Poetic, descriptive and terse
I wanted to try
Out a clever reply
But I just couldn't make the last line work no matter what I did.

Rhyming's not so easy, is it?
Hard to think of whosit, whatsit
Together we'd chime
And find words that rhyme
If you would only come and visit

I've emailed you a couple times in the last few months, I think, but never heard back. Do you have a new email? It would be lovely to see you. We're coming to Seattle at the end of this month- are you near Seattle?

Actually, we're arriving the evening of the 27th, and are staying at my uncle's, and using his car. It just really worked out that way. So, we're available the 28th, but that might be cutting it too close for you. Let me know if that works. If we can twist Astra's arm and have dinner...

Yeah, that's probably cutting a little too close. I've got an early morning flight on the 29th. If experience is any guide, I'll be spending the days leading up to it rushing to get work done.

Too bad. I really should have been checking that email account more often than every few months.
