Ok...
So I got in an accident today, nobody was hurt, all cars were still functional (pretty much), and, as it turns out, I may be less at fault than I first thought.
So heres what happened. I was parked on the side of the road, and I backed up into a driveway and I was going to pull around the parked car on my right into the street, and as I scooted forward, this one girl (Ill call her girl A) hits the corner of my car with her car, the force of this causes her to go up on her left two wheels and the front left of her car hits the front left of another girls (Girl B) car.
at first glance i look at fault, but, let us continue into more facts. Girl B can, in absolutely no way be at fault, she was going the other way, the speed limit, doing everything right. Now, Girl A was speeding, and not by a little. Due to some previous "experiments" by my friends (flying volvo) I know that 30 miles an hour (the speed limit on the road) is totally not fast enough to lift your car far off the ground, much less raise HALF of it higher than 5 feet. So anyway, my whole part in this accident was to move forward about 10 inches, then press on the brakes and get hit. The nose of my car was slightly sticking out before I moved forward, enough to have been visible if you were driving the way I wanted to go. Normally when I see someone sticking out like that, I would slow down, and give them a lot of room, but maybe thats just me.
anywho, its all gonna work out how it works out, Ill keep you updated on anything new.
I just new it was gonna be a bad day when I woke up late like that...
