[After the disaster that was the Shedinja fiasco, Liquid and Otacon had made it to Ecruteak. And Liquid found that he was unfortunately utterly broke after spending most of his money getting back on the engineer's good side in Goldenrod. Wining and dining a nerd was surprisingly expensive, even if the aforementioned nerd was a lightweight and a cheap date.]
[At the moment, he had approximately no cash. Which was why he was standing in the Pokemon Center, clad once again in those glorious pink scrubs that he'd endured during his first few weeks of being in Johto.]
[Gather round and be amazed, for Liquid is wearing a shirt.]
[He is also bored, and a bored Liquid isn't something that anyone wants.]
[At the moment, he was underneath the machine for healing Pokemon; there are wires and cables around him, and a box of tools lying open on the ground next to him. One of Liquid's lesser-known skills was, actually, in fixing machines, though his knowledge was somewhat limited to weapons and vehicles, but, really, it shouldn't be too hard to fix one of these, right?]
Goddamn bastard...
[He groped around on the floor for a moment for a wrench.]
I think I see how this goes... [There is the sound of metal on metal and of something being unscrewed. Liquid grabs for a bag of nuts and bolts and pulls it under the machine with him. There are more metallic noises.]
Okay, so this should go here and that should go there...
[BANG.]
[The Pokegear that had been recording this falls from where it was set, and the video is briefly obscured by smoke.]
...I think I know what I did wrong.
[The feed cuts out.]
