Winter break has finally arrived, after what seemed like four Fridays in a row. Twas the longest week of the school year, by far. Anyways, Mr. Hunt said that the reason for winter break is so the school can save money by reducing the heat bill. So this is the one week that I'm going to thank the Lord for winter and cold weather and ask that he blesses the man who thought up the idea, whomever that may be. =D The Driver's Ed lecture was canceled today so my bed and I got to spend a quality twelve hours together to make up for the lack of time we've been spending together lately.
WB's One Tree Hill tour is going to Roseland Ballroom on March 23rd, and guess who will be pleased to become further acquainted with The Wreckers (Michelle Branch & Jessica Harp), Gavin DeGraw, TYLER HiLTON<3, and Bethany Joy Lenz.. Ahem *cough* MEEE!!!! *cough*... as well as Sara, Shachi, and Nancy.
Ah yes, and I had a short but sweet exchange of words with the little brother the other day:
Me: Rob, Do you think I'm disgusting because I'm a redhead?
The bro: No.
Me: Do you think red heads are disgusting?
The bro: No, no I don't care about hair color, no one does.
Me: Well, some guys were saying that all red heads are disgusting and that I'm disgusting because of my red hair, so I'm just taking a poll.
The bro: That's because it's the only thing that's different about you.
Awe, my brother is going to be such a good daddy! That made me feel better. And it's true, people do only make fun of what makes you different. People look at difference, never similarities. Just a reminder: We should't look at each other as red heads, white people, fat people, Cuban people, tall/short people, etc... We should look at each other as just simply "People."
