regionals
yes, yes, I quit regionals... it's not my fault, really. I got to the school at 7:16 on Saturday and nobody was there, so I called Bri and she told me that we had to be at the school at 8:15. However, I thought she meant Flowing Wells. So, I went back to Flowing Wells an hour later to find nobody there still. I called Bri again and she told me that she had meant we had to be at Palo Verde at 8:15. So, I was definitely very late, meaning I had already lost my all-state eligibility. At that point, I just decided to quit. It wasn't worth it to make my dad drive all the way out to Palo Verde for a choir that never meant much to me anyway. Plus, my friend Gabi came into town that day and if I had gone to regionals, I wouldn't have gotten to see her at all.
So, I'm sorry if I disappointed people, but my life is far too hectic right now. I have Disneyland next weekend, New York to see Rachael the week after that, then I get one day of school before going to L.A. to meet Gene Simmons and his family, then tech week for treasure island the next week, and finally the week of the show... soooooo... I have too much make-up work to worry about spending more time trying to get into all-state choir anyway.
