[The communicator turns on but there's no sound, until of course there's a loud clatter as it falls to the floor, since Chopper is still shaking lightly. He bends down to pick it up and he swallows heavily, voice with a hint of worry and nervousness, like he's just seen a ghost or something.]

[There is a pause. Nill... actually knew what happened to Chopper before Kamui let it slip before. The memory kind of trickled out of his head, among other things.

He had been acting more terse and impatient at the hospital lately too. She was worried.]

...Does he scare you?

[There's a long pause, wondering where exactly that question is coming from, until he remembers that accidental post Kamui had made with Fuuma, where he'd actually confessed to killing him. Zoro knew, Sanji knew, Umi knew, plenty of people probably knew, so odds were that Nill knew also.

He thinks back to when he had woken up in the hospital that second time, and Kamui had been the first to try talking to him. He couldn't even say anything, he'd just turned the comm off. Thinks of when he'd been chasing Kamui after his first escape from the hospital, and then going after him today for the second time. It had been almost a month. He'd told Kamui he wasn't angry at him for what he did. And yet, he'd been just as terrified today when Kamui had picked him up then when he'd just had his frequency to look at two days after being killed.]

I don't want to be scared of Kamui. But I am.

[That's tough... There are plenty of things to be scared of in Discedo, as well as lot to look out for. Usually monsters were the worst of people's problems.

It's when the worst thing turns out to be person that it starts to get tougher, doesn't it? ...Nill was actually scared of quite a few people who still remained at large in the city.

In that way, she could kind of understand the feeling.]

Do you still want to be friends with him?

[And that's a question that had been running through his mind ever since this whole "problem" with Kamui started. Technically, the two shouldn't have ever remained friends after what had happened. Why would anyone even think of remaining friends with someone that had killed them? The first time they had managed to talked, they'd both pretty much come to the conclusion that they weren't friends anymore, but had said that if there was a chance that they could, they'd gladly take it. [Nill looked down, slowly fumbling around with the communicator in her hands as she started thinking about what he said. It came out all muddled, and confusing... She needed to run it through her mind a few times to really understand what he was trying to tell her.

[That was something he could definitely understand. Even with everything he'd ever gone through back home on the Grand Line, even before he'd become a pirate, it was always harder to be brave. He knew he could count on his crewmates for help and support, and Luffy always had a way of saying or doing something that made you feel like you could pretty much do anything you wanted without even having time to think about being scared (that's just how their captain was, and he and the others wouldn't change it for anything in the world), but it was still kind of hard, and it was even harder here
