[A slight but still painful burning ache begins to develop in his lungs -it must have been when he had accidentally gotten a mouthful of ash while he was calling out for help - and he quickly covers his mouth and nose with his hooves as he coughs lightly, though he realizes that it doesn't provide the best relief. It's something though, so he takes a few seconds to glance around at his surroundings again. And then a thought comes to him. He turns his face to the communicator, his voice slightly muffled from under his hooves]

Doctorine? Where are you now? Should I... do something? [He considered calling out to her, but he didn't think his lungs would allow it, and he'd rather not risk making his own condition even worse.]

[He fought back the tears threatening to spill forth once again, hunching over in order to sniffle a few times. It had seemed like ages since he had last left Drum Island. Since he had left the only other person -aside from Dr. Hiluluk- that he had ever really cared for. Doctorine had done so much for him back then, and she had given him just as much as well. It had been beyond painful to simply leave her there, but he could definitely say that becoming a Straw Hat was something he would never regret, and he couldn't be happier with his nakama. He thought it would take forever to see Doctorine again, but here she was. Speaking to him. And he would be able to see her -in person-. It was all just too much.]

[It is her. And he can't stop the welling up of tears in his eyes again. Is pretty sure he won't be able to stop it from getting worse. He notices someone else with her, but pays him no mind. He just continues to stare straight at her, unsure of what to do.]

[Kureha bit her lip trying to best to contain her tears. Stupid reindeer, had to over react again. She tilts her head forward cascading her gray hair as she felt some tears ready flow. How long has it been, or for him.]

Baka... [Was all she could say as she kneels down to handing the reindeer a damp cloth.] Just get over here.

[He gives a little shaky nod and slowly reaches out to grab the cloth, pressing it to his face and letting it muffle the tiny hiccuped sobs he's making and soak up the tears streaming down his face. A few sniffles here and there. Takes a step, and then another, so that she's just inches away from him.]

[After he took it off her hands, she slowly rises herself. The cloth slowly sweeps up over her face and down again trying to get any remaining tear.]

Let's get back to the hospital first, I'll explain on the way.

O-okay... [He says in a mumbled tone, but nods to make sure she knows he heard her. He's managed to get control of his tears but still ends up sniffling from time to time. He takes the cloth and folds it a couple of times so he can cover his nose and mouth with a cleaner side.]
