So that other city's finally gone, huh. Good; the place reeked of death and sickness. I don't know how anyone here could handle it.

[Yeah that's right Sango. He'd stuck himself nose-first to go make sure you got home safe. And stuff.]

... That was one of those 'event' things, wasn't it? Is anyone.. still sick from it?

[OH, INUYASHA, YOUR POOR NOSE. She is sincerely sorry. And is making you food to make up for it, though you can probably already smell it. The door is half-open and she knocks a little, peeking in.]

I got some rabbits this morning and have them cooking on the hearth downstairs. You want to come join me?

[Oh he can- it's why he's already half way across the room by the time she opens the door.]

Food sounds good. [JUST THE FOOD. NOT LIKE HE LIKES THE COMPANY OR ANYTHING. /tsun]

[Oh of course not, who cares about company, ffft. Everyone knows that the only reason he came to get her is because she is a woman and therefore can make him sammiches. >:c and put poison in them because how dare he call her a wench--]

No promises if it'll be any good. I'm not the best cook. You're sort of my taste tester.

[Juliet has been rubbing off on her, InuYasha. DOMESTICS. SHE has them IS IN THE PROCESS OF HONING THEM MAYBE SOMEDAY.]

[Sob hey shut up he doesn't call anyone a wench. ... Okay well sometimes. Shut up. And he's definitely slinking by and into the kitchen, curiously sniffing the air. .. Well it doesn't smell bad at least.]

Oh yea? What'd you make? [Sniff sniff]

[Since he hasn't outright insulted it yet, she knows it must not be horrible. She seems content with this, at least.]

Rabbit stew. I found a handful of herbs here and there, but it'll be sort of watery. At least there'll be a lot of it. If we keep it on the fire and we're lucky, it might last us a few days.

[Sniff sniff, grabbing a ladle to spoon himself a taste. Ehh.. She was right about the watery bit, but it wasn't bad.]

Didja tell Kagome? Maybe she has one of those... Fridgy things. It keeps food good for .. I dunno. Longer than a week sometimes.

I was kind of hoping to be able to do something like this on my own. And uh, I don't know if that would... work here.

[She's not exactly sure what a "fridgy thing" is.]
