“I can’t believe we’re here!” Dongho shouted excitedly for the nth time in the day. “This is a dream!”

It wasn’t, actually. Manager hyung had just adjusted everyone’s schedule so the weekend was free, and then stuffed everybody in a van and drove to the beach. Idols need to rest, he said, (as well as their managers) and, since his wife’s brother had a vacant house near the beach, why not to lend it for a trip?

No dream. Just a group trip, which now was being seized with a campfire-heated dinner near the sea. Everybody was currently stuffing their mouths with the delicious fruit salad that manager’s wife noona had prepared for them, or singing to random songs that manager’s brother was playing in his guitar. Or both at the same time.

“Had you never gone in a trip to the beach before, Dongho?” Kevin asked, studying closely a piece of watermelon as if it was a particularly beautiful sculpture.

“I have, but never with my friends like that!” He said, picking up more fruit salad and eating it voraciously.

“You got quite burnt, didn’t you,” Kiseop - the nearer one, and the one who Dongho was leaning on for the moment - observed, looking to the boy’s cheeks. “You’re a toasted idol now.”

Dongho turned his head to Kiseop to see if the other wasn’t burnt, but ended up getting an eyeful of his lips, thanks to the angle of his body. His lips weren’t burnt. He shifted against the guy’s chest, getting a better view of his cheeks, but those weren’t burnt either.

“Hyung, you didn’t have any fun!” He complained, turning back to his food. “Don’t worry so much about your skin.”

“The fun is just starting, Dongho,” Kiseop replied in a mockingly mysterious voice, squeezing the boy’s shoulders and wriggling his eyebrows. Dongho barely acknowledged the arrival of manager hyung with his wife, bringing more fruits and fireworks, having had his brain knotted.

“I was too lazy to cut them, so just eat them like that,” Manager’s wife announced, leaving the fruits on the table with a laugh. The attention, however, was turned to the fireworks, with a high amount of squeals and grabbing hands. Dongho was about to join them, but a hand that could only belong to one person sneaked slowly to his waist, embracing him slowly.

Was hyung playing with him?

What.

Before he was completely wrapped up by those arms, he quickly got up and grabbed a banana from the table, going back to his original position. As quick as he got back, the hand also got back to its position. Dongho made a face for himself, having got a great plan.

Unpeeling the banana slowly, he bit it in an apparently normal gesture, but knowingly letting his lips linger on it a bit too much. Then, with his best sweet, innocent face, he offered the very same banana to Kiseop to take a bite.

And he did.

He did, Kiseop. He lowered himself to the banana slowly, sliding his lips down the fruit until he had the biggest piece he could swallow inside his mouth, and then bit it, taking his time. Dongho watched that all frozen, eyes wide as grapefruits.

Kiseop hyung was teasing him.

The teaser sighed while chewing the giant banana piece, leaning his head on top of Dongho’s while his hand travelled lower and embraced the boy very much by the hips.

“These summer nights are so hot,” Kiseop commented in a low voice, right beside Dongho’s ear. The maknae couldn’t actually respond, chewing his banana in a catatonic state.

It was not a nice thing to do, he thought in the back of his mind.

But oh, Dongho liked it.

OMAKE.

“People, gather up,” Kibum announced, coming back of the house with a camera in his hands and a sly smile on his lips. “Guess who’s going to fulfill a promise right now~.”

Soohyun began to laugh loudly, but the rest of them just looked at Kibum inquisitively.

“Our Kevin lost a bet to me and Soohyun hyung,” he explained, looking over his shoulder. “Now he’ll have to dance hula in a full Hawaiian hula-dancer outfit.”

A lot of ‘oooh’ and a nasalized ‘oh my gosh’ were heard upon that statement, creating a general excitement for the show. Manager’s brother even stopped playing the guitar, laughing beforehand.

With such a show being about to be put for the crowd, no one noticed that two members were missing.
