As I suspected, I have tonsilitis. Hurts like hell to swallow, tonsils swollen up like large white-coated grapes, ear ache and swelling of various glands. Hopefully the antibiotic will make recovery faster, but for now swallowing anything at all makes me want to cry.

Look on the bright side - tonsilitis pretty much requires that you don't eat much besides ice cream for a while =D

Once I get over the nausea from the antibiotics, maybe I'll consider ice cream :-P

Ugh, I threw up the whole week I had tonsilitis when I was I was 5 or 6 because of the drugs they put me on. No frickin' ice cream for little Katie.

*hugs* I hope things improve, and that you feel better. Is there any chance they might have to come out?

I don't think they'll have to come out. They only really do that these days for chronic tonsilitis, or if you get it more than once or twice. As long as I don't get it again, I should be able to keep my tonsils... treacherous though they may be.

Ungh, and it feels like I'm gonna be throwing up all week, too. But at least my throat doesn't hurt so bad anymore.
