I hope you had a wonderful Independence Day. Our wedding anniversary is 4th July so we always have a celebratory day and think of the U.S.A. at the same time!

Since I've joined LJ, I'm aware of all sorts of holidays around the world. Tynwald Day, for Isle of Man, is the day after Independence Day. And Boxing Day for my British and Canadian friends is the day after Christmas. Do you celebrate Boxing Day?

And, in April, I read a Bill Bryson book about Australia to commemorate Anzac Day!

Very nice! Once the sun goes down, it seems more comfortable even at the high temperatures.
