Just thought of something late last night, when Kate asked me, whether I would like the ability to read minds.
I told her, that I would like the ability to read my own mind.
Think of it. Going day by day, hour by hour - when was the last time, your thoughts didn't stray after 30 seconds of consecutive "process"?
Our mind works in an associative way. We start from point A, and before we know it - we're at point F by ways of a big bad ass tree of paths.
The path in between - isn't clear. We never stayed there long enough, to actually comprehend where we are.
I'm not talking about studying or working. That's a different issue, and some basic concentration should do the trick of allowing one to stay focused for a prolonged period of time.
I'm talking about the thought-soup that our brain brew every second of our life, even when we sleep.
So yes, I would definitely like a contraption to read this "soup", and make much more sense with more efficiency, and less headache and uncertainties.
Developing my own ;)
