Calgary Expo
Now, normally I don't post, because...well, because I don't post. But today is a special day, so I must share!
Today I went to the Calgary Expo and it was there that....
I HUGGED LEONARD NIMOY.
And since this is such an exciting event, I shall post without any regard to your f-list or layouts.
Anyway, I asked him 'Would it be entirely inappropriate to ask for a hug?' and he goes 'Of course it would!' and I got really confused, but then as I went to walk away he opened his arms and was like 'COME ON!' all friendly like, so... I think he misheard me. Doesn't matter, I got a hug!
And there was some other stuff, too.
I ended up almost camping out (figuratively, not literally...duh) outside the room where he was going to be doing the photo op about 2 hours before the start time, sitting through four other people who were doing them before him. I wasn't going to take any other pictures, but since he was there, I had one with Brent Spiner!
I also wasn't going to because since I was a child he scared me without makeup, but I was there, and I kind of had to, you know?!
There was also this super tall guy who was dressed as M Bison, and that was quite exciting.
And Cheetara, also exciting.
And the dude who was waiting for the ATM and had terrifying facial hair.
And some other things!
Also some loot.
Oh! There was also a book that is a compilation of illustrations inspired by the life and career of William Shatner done by Calgary residents. Awesome.
