On some of the works at Gasworks park. It really happened. Last weekend. Tfabris and gfishy and I went to see the effects after five days up... It was still beautiful, even though only some of the 500 odd lights were on. Such a lovely night to wander there. The view was vibrant, the potheads were peaceful and sweet, and the sense of universal outlaw behavior was rich in the air.
In keeping with outlaw nature, we perused Beth's afterwards, commenting on the ingeniousness of the plan and its implementation. Apparently, when the lights were going up, the number of participants tripled as passersby began throwing up LED's that had fallen.
I hope you can see it in the next couple of days, because it really is a new kind of beauty on our skyline.
