Mmmmm. Good day.

VBS is becoming the coolest thing ever. Danielle and I are totally rocking the music every morning. And these cute kids keep coming up to give us hugs and tell El that she has pretty eyes *grins*. We enjoy ourselves too much. And our boys are SO rockin the dance moves. Then we split up our group for learning their separate scenes, which worked extremely well. I had the narrators, and I taught them the "lion face, lemon face" exercise to try to teach them how to act with their eyes. Then when I walked over to see the other groups, I was totaly in awe. My group.... they all need to be teachers, at least once a year like this. Danielle and Drew somehow managed to make the first scene with the girls completely entertaining, and brought out this life force of acting from quiet little Mary. More surprising was Chris and Vinnie's sudden ability to communicate with kids... whoda thunk?! They totally put together this whole physical comedy scene, and not only blocked it, but got the kids to do it WELL. Like, even the facial expressions! I was in awe. The show might actually be GOOD. It couldn't have happened without my wonderful volunteers :). Tomorrow we're gonna teach them enunciation, which is always fun. And Daring Danielle, Safari Sarah, Dashing Drew, Curious Chris and Adventure Vinnie are SO teaching our Jesus rap tomorrow. I like how the African puppet can do the dance, complete with bling. To God be the Gloraaaaay!!

Then I got to bond with Brandon a bit on the road to pick up Andrew at Steele. He is such a butthead.

I got a tan while I wrote this really awesome letter for the movie. It was so fun to write, I got empassioned. If I ever need to write to my ex-lover to tell him about our lovechild, I am using this letter. Plus the sunshine was fabulous.

Then after some KFC-inspired family time, I went to babysit in El Cajon. I LOVE those kids!! That little baby girl makes me want children soo badly. She would wabble back and forth from the table with her milk, to sit in her chair, to try on her dad's shoes, to her milk again. She had this musical stuffed animal that sings "My Girl", and she would mumble along with it. SO. CUTE! When I was putting her to bed, I put her blankie on my shoulder and sat down to rock her to sleep. As soon as she grasped the blankie, her whole body went "thunk" into a sleepy stupor. *sigh* And her older brothers were the best behaved kids I have ever seen. I get to do it again tomorrow too! Hope I don't jinx it, but I love watching them so much.

Please pray or send good vibes to my pal Jessica, who's having surgery tomorrow. Poor baby. I haven't seen her in years :(.

Now I'm watching the 100 Best Movie Quotes special, and it's making me really want to watch Casablanca. Or Gone With the Wind. *love*
