Weird Spam.

I actually kept this piece of spam in my spamfilter box because it puzzled me so.
I just can figure out how on earth a spam bot would know that picking the subject line of "Eunuch" would get ME intrigued. I think there was a picture sent along with it, but our sophisticated sender verification software blocked the transmission of it.

Has anyone else out there in the big queer universe gotten this? sorry for not using lj cut but I haven't been able to figure it out lately.

They flatter himwhen necessary, and sponge on him, but Im pretty certain theydont like him.
I can imagine himstanding stiffly by his friends, and I have heard of him doinggenerous things. If hes still alive I cant think what the Devil is waitingfor. The name of Troth appeared in some of them.
It was a straight personaldemand to stand and deliver. Ive justgot on the track of a rather ugly affair. Anyhow, there we are, andan infernal worrying business it is.
Ive had to take plenty of risks, andsome of them mighty big ones.
First of all, let mesay that we have nothing against him.
Hehad cut an odd enough figure at Hanham, but in London he was cleanout of the picture. It was a straight personaldemand to stand and deliver. My impression of the day before was confirmed.
Whatever his trouble was, it was real enough, andnot a mental delusion.
So Iam very desperate, and that is why I have sought out my fathersfriends.
That sounds rather attractive, doesnt it?
My impression of the day before was confirmed. Ihunted him up after tea, and we went for a walk on the Downs.
It is not only for myself I fear, he said in a leaden voice.
The man might be a bandit, but he wouldnt be asneak-thief.
An intellectual who doesntforget to shave.
Keeping a promise was one thing, but nursing a lunatic wasquite another.
The name of Troth appeared in some of them.
That sounds rather attractive, doesnt it? This Valdemar Haraldsen was as sane as myself, and he wasin deadly peril. While he was still cogitating he got a second letter from Troth.
Then he told me, with long stops when he seemed to be hunting forwords, the following story. There was nothing to do but to wait ondevelopments.
Did I know anybody like him, for he had never seenhim before? Mary and I raced off at once and took rooms near thenursing-home. I think you had better turn the thing over to me, I said. Haraldsen is an invalid, I said, and must keep quiet.
This screwed Valdemar up to the point of action. Ive made severalexcursions into the under-world, and I know some of the ropes.
You might have thoughtthat he knew him and wanted to stop and speak. Youve been lying pretty low lately, and I hadhoped you had settled down for good.
He came down in the Lepchabusiness, but there was never any suggestion against his character.
This Valdemar Haraldsen was as sane as myself, and he wasin deadly peril.

Weird, eh?
