Lifted from Kozo_Hippo's FA journal (
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kozohippo/). Because I wrote all this, and thought hell, why not make my own journal entry. I like getting comments.
I kill a lot of mosquitoes. They used to keep me up at night, make me itch all the time, and before I moved, my home was right in the middle of all the biggest swarms.
Spiders annoy me. They're creepy, but they eat other bugs so I don't totally hate them, however...I will not tolerate them in my home. If I am at home and I see a spider, it will die. Maybe if they paid me little spider rent checks each month and kept to their own room, it wouldn't come to this, but they don't.
But the only insect that's ever really thrown me off my groove is canker worms. By themselves, they're not bad. Little green inchworm things. Very small, relatively non-threatening. They live in trees. However they lay eggs in grass, so they will rappel down to ground level on little invisible threads. and you will be walking along, or in my case mowing the yard, and suddenly get that unmistakable sensation that you've walked into a strand. Which you then have to pull off of you....and then you know there's a worm on you...SOMEWHERE. It could be on your shoes, or your pants, or your shirt, or in your hair...URGH. I would always have a minor freak-out whenever I walked into one of those damn invisible threads.
