The evil lab report is done... for now. I'm pretty sure that tomorrow will be looking at our lab reports, telling us what we did wrong with them while we were trying to do them correctly, and then sending us home to try again. Which I'm not sure which would frustrate me more, redoing the paper, or just getting a B on it. This is definitly not my favorite part of psychology.
Of course, even more annoying is the notice from Hillcrest that we recieved in our door today, telling us to clean the cigarette butts that are littered outside of our apartment in 24 hours... or get fined for breaking some sanitation thing. Now, I have plenty of questions relating to this note: 1. Did you give this notice to the couple of apartments above us as well, or was that just to us? 2. Why suddenly enforce said sanitation thing, when the past year and a half I've lived here has not produced such enforcement of rules. 3. Did it ever occur to you that if our apartment was the only one that was given to, that ALL of the residents of this apartment are NOT smokers? and therefore are not thrownig said cigarette butts onto the ground after I'm done with them? 4. Who complained and did the cite us as the reason? ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGG. I'm sorry, but I would prefer to not have to pay money for something I didn't do. And if the problem of cigarette butts continues, if they keep having us pay fines, even though it is not our fault. Yes, Amanda will be telling them that we are non-smokers and therefore are not the ones throwing cigarette butts outside, and hopefully will solve the problem tomorrow.
As for the City. Why did you choose to start the replacing of electric lines in the road/putting in of the evil roundabout in October when it is getting colder and all the students are back in school so you are blocking one of the major intersections that gives access to the college? Not to mention you're blocking both of the driveways that connect to my apartment complex and therefore have to go through the gas station just to fathom getting on the main road, but have to go all the way around the golf course just to get to school. Somehow I think logic escaped you.
Sorry for the long rant everyone, but I guess somewhere I had to, and I'm sure some of you feel the same way about the road being blocked off. Thank you for letting me rant.
