And Junior year begins...
*sigh* Now, how do I say this? I really (x100) dislike school. It makes me tired, and it sucks my imagination dry. But my teachers this year seem okay.
I have Modern World History first. I really don't have much of an opinion of Ms. Gadel yet, but I get the feeling that I'm going to hate my class. Filled with people and obnoxious guys that are bound to interrupt the teacher every 3 seconds with their unintelligible questions, like "can I go pee?" But hopefully I can get by that class without exploding, hopefully.
second period I have Sociology. Mrs. DuBois seems really cool, but I feel so alone in that class. There's no one I really know. Except Kelvin...but he's as good as company as a stone hamburger can be. No offense to him.
Third period I have Advanced Studio Art! yay! I think its rather lame how they stuff a bunch of the art students in one room, but everyone's taking different levels. In our class there's Advanced Studio students, Painting, Studio 1, and one AP Drawing student. Jumbling it up like that just seems rather pointless to me, but oh well. Our first assignment was to draw a still-life of wheels. My good gobstoppers...I am so sick of wheels! It was one of the first things I had to draw last year too, AND the year before that. I wish it was a toaster instead...
Fourth period English! Mr. Savett is cool, even if he is creepy because he's really quite eccentric. But I think he's my favorite teacher so far.
Sixth period AP Environmental. This is the ONLY AP course I'm taking this year in contrast to some friends whom are taking 7 AP courses. You see, I'd much rather prefer that I graduate high school while ALIVE. I had Mr. Rogers for Biology last year. And it seems to me that he's the one of the only really normal teachers I've ever had. He's neither extremely eccentric, nor mean, nor horrible at teaching. But his name makes me laugh inwardly. Mr. Rogers, won't you be my neighbor? I'm such a cheesehead...
Seventh Period...French 4...Madam Car...yea...I forgot all my french over the summer dammit! Now I've got to look back and try to figure out all those weird irregular verb conjugations again. Agh! Screw this.
Eigth Period Food Trends. Hmm...there's a bridge kid that I don't think I'll get along with very much. Since he insists on interrupting the class to tell slow, long-winded, graphic stories about tape worms found in badly cooked steak, or the ghost of a dead girl in his old school. hmm. -_-. I don't think the teacher, Mrs. Weissmeyer, likes me very much though. I was wearing goggles on my forehead, and a tie today and the instant I stepped into the room she kept staring at me in a disapproving fashion. Oh well.
And so...the torture begins. For all you people at college now...how was YOUR first day?
*And just cuz I feel bored...here's a movie-esque quote that I said in an AIM conversation with a friend yesterday:
"I don't think I'd fall for someone if I have to play his/her shrink so often...I'd fall for someone whom I feel inclined to kiss when they're crying their eyeballs out."
