what is this i hear from mylynn that you're coming home? last time i talked to you you said you weren't planning on coming back, farthead! i super miss you and i hope the rumor about you coming home is true. :)

oh that mylynn...spreading such crazy rumors.
the funny thing is, i really dont recall telling anyone about my summer plans. so this rumor may or may not be true..

Here riddle me this:

Suppose it is true that I am planning to go back to Guam, but what if my plane is standing on a runway that can move (imagine a ridiculously large conveyer belt). The plane moves in one direction, while the conveyer moves in the opposite direction. This conveyer has a control system that tracks the plane speed and tunes the speed of the conveyer to be exactly the same as the plane (but in the opposite direction). Can the plane take off and send me back to Guam?

The answer to this question will tell you if I am going back to Guam this summer.
