(no subject)
glorious, glorious. the walk up to the mailbox in summer is a 10 minute easy jaut, in 2 feet of snow and ice it's a workout. loved every minute of it, the snow, the wind (only a little), the trees. the geese flying overhead making mournful *when did it get so damn cold?* sounds. you may now picture me bundle in parka, mittens, scarf and hoods...and climbing over the fence because the gate was frozen shut.
hee. also, picture husband, remote control jeep (piloted by an orc, naturally) and corgi. i really don't know which was cuter.
now, dishwasher is running, soon to be joined by the laundry. i am drinking hazelnut coffee, and off to the studio for some writing and a viewing of bridget jones' dairy, another holiday movie for me. and k and i watched us some indiana jones last night, which is traditional for us since our first yule together. totally sean connery's best role.
