i'm not trying to be at all rude, but from reading your journal, it seems like you are always setting yourself up for failure. you go on these crazy restrictive diets, and then you eventually go absolutely NUTS and eat everything that you can get your hands on.
as a bulimic who recently entered recovery, its one of the first things that i had to identify - my binge/purge cycles, what triggered them, why i did it, what i was feeling, etc. and i found that going on calorie restriction (for me that was about 300 calories a day) i could last a few days, and then i would just binge and purge for days at a time.
what you should try doing is setting up a reasonable caloric limit for the day (800-1000 to start), and splitting up those calories at specific times during the day. it doesn't have to be even; some people eat more in the evening, or after they work out in the morning, cater it to your lifestyle. also, if you try to stick to catabolic (negative calorie) foods, and eat every couple of hours, the high amount of fiber in these foods will not only keep you fuller longer, they'll also keep you "regular" if you know what i mean. keeping your blood sugar stable is the best way to curb cravings and keep your body healthy. after a few days, you'll feel your energy increase, and you'll be able to add an hour (even two) of cardio and weight training each day. the more lean muscle you build, the more fat you'll burn.
and of course, remember to stay hydrated throughout the day (8-10 glasses of water), which helps to flush out toxins in the body and keeps you from getting edema (when your organs hold onto excess water).

i used to be a personal trainer and nutritionist, so i do have an idea of what i'm talking about. of course, its always easier to tell other people how to live a healthy lifestyle rather than to do it yourself, hence my almost 3 year struggle with bulimia.

here's that list of catabolic foods - http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node=catabolic%20foods
i wish you the best of luck in your weight loss goals. the holidays are a hard time for all of us. don't be to hard on yourself! its normal to gain a few pounds during this time, especially since its getting colder out! its the body's way of keeping you insulated against the cold weather.
