Don't ya hate it when you forget to put your away msg on and you walk off only to come back to a screen filled w/ msgs! The night I'm popular is the night I go to bed early!
So I did some more research on LCDs and I really lucked out! Since I have a nice Samsung w/ only 2 dead pixels BUT they're not very noticeable, I learned Samsung is implementing a new "Zero Dead Pixel Policy." So I can turn in my monitor for a replacement w/in 6mo. Yay! I'll wait until I get my rebate etc. But this was shocking:
"Online retailer Newegg.com is one of the few stores that applies a uniform and widely publicized dead-pixel policy. Each LCD monitor listed on the site includes a reminder that the store will only replace if it has eight or more dead pixels."
Good thing I didn't buy from them! :-D
