I LOVE NORDSTROM!!! I must say, whenever I feel shitty all I have to do is drop a hundred or so and I feel like a new girl! *wipes tear* I dunno what I would do w/out my new purse and shoes and valentines outfit. *Sobs happy tears*

they dont even CALL them that in the UK, that was just some name they made up for the movie, any Brit will tell you that...*snickers*

Was that you're own conclusion? Pikey is a derivative of Piker, which is a vagabond who gambles or one who doesn't have a skill. More modern definitions is a vagabond or a gypsy, someone of of Irish or Scottish decent. Any dictionary of history book will tell you that. *snicker*

Brits dont use that term...I never heard my grandfather or relatives ever use it until that damn movie was released.

Piker yes is a real word. Pikey, never used...now sod off.

NOT England. Again, my relatives don't use that slur. We normally say gypsies or gypos if we want to be nasty towards them.

My mom and dad (born and raised on the outskirts of Edinburgh) have never said Pikey and I never heard it until Snatch came along... The Scots dont use that slur, it might be one the English use...who cares.
