Excited for the Upcoming Weeks
Aww this is my last weekend in a while where I can sleep till 12 or 1 without any worries >< Next weekend, I'm going to LA for my cousin's baby shower. Weekend after that, BFF is coming! Weekend after that, I'm going to Hawaii to see my friend from Japan! I think it's only two weeks after that, I'm going back to Japan!!! I'm so excited :D Only I found out the guitar circle I joined will be going on their spring camp (gasshuku) most of the week I'll be there :( Hopefully they'll have time before then to see me^^ I'm sure I can see other people besides them, but it would be nice to see their faces again.
I have to think of a topic for my research paper that has to be written all in Japanese. I really wanted to do it on Japanese pop idols (i.e. Johnny's, AKB48, etc) but there doesn't seem to be many reference books on that subject. I really want to make a movie as part of the presentation especially since I'm going to Tokyo, I can take lots of footage and get interviews. That would be the best (^O^) Also it would be great to have in my portfolio.
I don't know why I'm looking so far into the future for my final projects. This is the first time I've been excited about a school project. Maybe it's cause it's my last semester? Or maybe it's because the topic of international media esp. Japanese media is a topic I am very interested in? Either way, I'm determined to make worthwhile final projects this semester!
