So, I'm in Whistler, for work, and lo and behold it's the Telus Ski and Snowboard competition hosted by (duh) Telus, and (not so duh) MTV Canada, LG, and some other hoes. As it is, there is a lot of scrumptious snow boarding girls, none of whom are looking at me. Meh. They'll regret that shit later.
So Jon's ESL school sent the tour company I work for 9 Nigerian students... they were horribly unprepared for this weather (maybe -1, more likely +2). Goes without saying that they don't want to be here, but the guides aren't leaving until 4:30... me? I'm getting my drink on tonight. I'm here with the Brazilians and Swiss until tomorrow. Not only the fact that they are cold, but they're also like 12. Yeah. Not much to do but be cold in a Starbucks, I guess. It's snowing, which fascinated them, now it's just annoying. I feel only slightly bad for them. What did they expect snow/winter to be? Cold. They were not aware, which is partially Jon's fault. He didn't inform them of the proper stuff to wear, or that they would have to bring money as well.
Slightly pissed about that. Anyway, it's fine. They'll be gone by 4:30 to warmer Vancouver, which is still kind of cold. ::eyeroll::
Peace it,
Uni
