Luckily for Jubilee, Minkah was not only a newcomer to the group, but one to his pack. Simply, he had yet to meet Kimoto. The steppe wolf paused at the edge of the ice before being persuaded over by the friendly greetings he was receiving from the threesome. He stepped gingerly on the ice, his ears cocked for ominous creaking or other signs of weakness. Hearing none, he carefully made his way over, miraculously managing to stay on all threes.

He gave a polite tip of his head to the Novans and gave a more submissive gesture to Kimoto. His eyes flicked around all three, his mind fast at work to impress each wolf's name into his memory. Tobin, Jubilee Peacekeeper. Tobin, Jubilee Peacekeeper. There we go. He smiled, doing his best to cover up his uneasiness. He had never quite mastered the art of walking on water -- even if it were frozen.

"I'm Minkah," he said pleasantly, "of Silver Creek." That much was obvious; his scent was heavy with Silver Creek. His amber eyes flicked from Kimoto to Tobin. Despite Tobin's genial greeting to him, he could sense the tension between the other two males. If Kimoto was counting on Minkah as backup in case of a fight, he might as well forget it now. The steppe wolf was no fighter, and with only three legs and as unbalanced as he was on the ice already, he wouldn't be of much help even if he were...
