Some Olivia Dunham love

Part 2 of my Scifiland Manifesto.
Classical Variations for Olivia Dunham and a wallpaper.

The Olivia Variations is a concept with which I drew 8 instrumental and classical variations on themes for Olivia. These are all - with the exception of the first one -, variations on previously composed themes and songs. Like Olivia, they are complex and every new layer adds depth to the character originally established. Some of these are not necessarily classical adaptations of themes, but that only makes them richer.
The complexity in them, the way they are layered and complicated, almost broken but so stunningly beautiful, so attractive and emotional... That's exactly what I love about Olivia.

Part of the Lambarena project, a fusion of classical Bach pieces with deep african sounds. Too complex and beautiful for words.

A stunning performance by Joshua Bell on a Rachmaninoff theme

Windows is an original String Quartet piece, composed as a response to inspiration from Coldplay music arranged for strings on the String Quartet Tribute to Coldplay

A stunning arrangement for 3 strings of the classic Beattles song. Incredibly raw and emotional

Another track from Lambarena, this one is also very complex and so layered that it can be heard over and over and never gets old.

A piece from the Massenet ballet Manon, this Pas de Deux is arranged by Leighton Lucas out of 3 different Massenet pieces.
