Let's see if I can keep up, shall we?
Ah, my edits are done; my time is my own. I am going to attempt to keep up with Livejournal as I have not been able to in the last weeks. I know LJ gets quieter and quieter, but I said it once and I'll say it again--I'm going down with this ship. (In the hopes that it doesn't actually sink completely!)
October--when did that happen? I wished a friend Happy Birthday yesterday, thinking I'd only missed it by a few days. His birthday is September 23. WTF?? I lost a few weeks, though I have to say, I've not missed out on things. It has simply been busy with lots of fun, autumnal stuff. The leaves are glorious, the weather is mild, I've been doing a lot of my edit work outside on the porch or out back by the river. It has been quite nice.
Next week (10/23 to be exact) I begin teaching my editing class with the continuing education department at the local high school. I'm pretty stoked about it, and a little nervous. It should be fun.
Today, I write! I cannot tell you how exciting that is for me after a month of editing. Sigh...so exciting.
Those of you who are fans of my daughter, Jamie (the one who appears on Jezebel) will be delighted to know she's guest posting on Heroines of Fantasy. In Defense of Sansa Stark. It's fabulous, snarky, and full of gifs that will make you snicker. She's pretty fantastic, if I do say so meself.
