At 4:47AM on October 20th, the fugitive with the assigned name of Sergei Smirnov entered 751 Partridge Drive.  An interview was conducted.  The following data was extracted.

First point.  The town which the Russians occupied prior to its destruction was built at the same time as Mayfield.  The process of revival from death was similar to that utilized here.  However, defects arose, resulting in a flawed regeneration process resulting in decreased stability of mental processes and other potential contraindications.

Second point.  Following the war between the Russians and the Americans, many towns similar to these were built.  The reason -- "We wanted to live".  The outside world posed grave danger to survival, but it remained a "fine world".  Whether or not the other towns remain is unknown.

Third point.  All drones were originally conscious beings before they were 'written over'.  In the town of the Russians, the rationale provided was as a sacrifice, 'for the greater good'.  The meaning of this is unknown.

Fourth point.  A letter was shown, the contents of which read as follows.

Based off all the information collected thus far, and assuming its veracity, I propose the following hypothesis.

This world is an alternate one in which the Cold War escalated to a nuclear war between the Russians and the Americans, leaving it uninhabitable or dangerous for survival.  The solution concocted was the creation of these illusory towns, a reminder of a former life that was no longer feasible.  Those who created these utopias maintain full control over all the flow of data within.  'Zemekis' was one of them.

The citizens of these towns were content to live peacefully, at first, and humans were encouraged to seek haven within these walls.  However, it soon resulted that the leaders began to 'change' those who resided within to suit their whims.  Samantha Achewood was one of the first victims to be fully droned; following this point, resistance began to arise.  Richard Grey, Evan Olney, and an as-of-yet unidentified woman named Annie who may have the surname of Blake were the major leaders.  With the betrayal of Olney and the release of the Grey Men, the resistance fell.  It seems possible that Westport was the original site of Mayfield.  Alternatively, it may be nothing more than town where the citizens were brought into the Mayfield utopia.  The video seemed to suggest that it suffered an attack at some point -- a strike from the Russians, or simply in reference to the rebellion.

The reason for our presence here may be nothing more than the desire of Zemekis to expand his power.  Alternatively, it is a show of strength from the Americans in their ongoing combat with the Russians.  With the destruction of the Russian utopia, it is possible that a change in the status quo may occur.

Concerning Lucy Smith . . . she seems to be the source of power for the creation and maintenance of such a place.  Mayfield.  A better place to live . . .

Please inform me as to whether or not any of my extrapolations are impossible.  Argumentation for the purpose of illumination is welcomed.  Other unknown data should be shared.  To those who encounter Boris Khoklov in the future . . . Do not allow my theories to taint your own.
