had me a blast..
I hope that everyone had a good Christmas or having a good Hanukkah. Mine was .. good. Other than I couldn't really sleep very well while at my parents and in a gloomy state of mind for part of it.

Christmas Day was nice and relaxing. Present wise, I got some DVDs, a couple of sweaters, books, candy, and other goodies. Right now, I am enjoying my Alias S4 DVDs and realizing how much I really enjoyed this season. Unfortunately, I didn't get Scrubs S1, but I did get some money, and some gift cards. I *did* get another Barnes and Noble gift card, and with the one I got for my bday, I will be having alot of fun going there.
I do love having a family who loves giving each other a ton of movies and books for gifts. There is never a shortage of movies to choose to watch after we open gifts and have our brunch consisting of french toast, bacon, sausages, fruit. Christmas is even more exciting because of the doggie ;) Beni is now the child of the family and to have him be so excited with getting a ton of toys and playing with the piles of wrapping paper, he was a very happy camper.
There was a funny moment. We had just finished with going through our stockings, and still in the dining room, when my brother walks over to the tree and presents in the living room, and immediately calls out for my mother. She runs in, thinking like the tree had fallen down, only to be shown that Beni had found one of his presents underneath the tree, admist all the other pile of presents, and opened it himself. My brother was rather smug when it turned out to be the football he bought for Beni. Let's just say that Beni was a happy little doggie on Sunday.
Yesterday, I was a bit difficult, between the cold and rain, we all went to the cemetry to visit my grandfather. Yesterday marked 15 years since he died on December 26th. Under the circumstances, especially after the events since August, this year was really tough. Just when I thought I was out of this funk, and happy, I get pulled back into this seesaw of emotions.
And I've been thinking about either taking a break from writing Logan/Veronica fics or stop altogether. Eh, I am back at work tomorrow. Bleh.
