ah, what a glorious winter brake, the best of many years past. Ive had time to meet and spend a good time with friends new and old, found a (relatively) artistic job and am now ready to begin a light but engaging semester at school. Ive also received a bursary which has allowed me to consider traveling during and after the school year, especially if this job of mine pays off. The only thing that i haven't found time for is to arrange the work i've done in a presentable way; but this i hope to achieve shortly.

In other news, i was thrilled to find a copy of Richard Williams unfinished epic floating in the ether of the inernet. This man, best known for his animation work on "who framed roger rabbit" was our nly required reading in sheridans animation program. Our septigenerian animation historian, Kai Pindal had shown us a rare, scratchy, & barely watchable reel of this mans life work, so badly canibalized by Disney & his creditors to maker aladin, and lo and behold, its now available in a marginally restored version on goole video.

Anyway, The wikipedia article has more than enough information on this story, so i wont bother retelling it here. If you want to see what 2d animation is capable of, i recommend you make time to watch this amazing film, "the thief and the cobbler"
