The last book in the White Star mini-series, Destiny's Hand by Lori Wilde (I think that is the title.) under Harlequin's Blaze imprint. The reviewer for the Romantic Times was on target when she noted the heroine was too ditzy and made too foolish-to-be believed decisions to be appealing for female readers. I understand romance novels are for entertainment and fluff, compared to fiction and literature but really folks!!! Is a half decent plot, and likable characters asking for too much?!?! Hopefully The Player by Rhonda Nelson is a more enjoyable read. Will keep you posted.
