Summary: Jimmy's feeling after his dad dumps him.
Dumped
He was scared, terrified. He'd never been on his own before. He never thought one mistake would lead him to the curb so easily. It hurt, hurt more than any training he'd ever gone through, stung more than the biting cold of ice and cool air. He though his father loved him for him, not his skating. Jimmy gnawed the inside of his lip. His eyes welled up with tears and slid over his lids. Ice crystals formed on his eye lashes. Jimmy wondered if he would die out here, and if he did, would anyone aside from Hector care?
