So i biked yesterday, and i ran today. Far to many truck's on the one route i've been doing. its a good route, with hills and stuff, but all the trucks for the construction work on the villages just sucks.. and some of the car's wiz'n by don't give you much room sometimes. So i think i'm gonna find a new route next time i ride. So i ran today since i didn't want to deal with crappy people. played some video games.. and did other random things around here, since there is literally nothing else to do in this old folks town. Well, its either old folks or white trash, i can choose. I think tomorrow though i'm gonna go to the store and pick up a floor jack since i really need to do my oil. find some place that will give me some big cardboard boxes or something i can lay out since i'm gonna change it in the street, and they wouldn't like me leaving an oil mess. Watched a show on discovery about that private outer space venture they did a few months back. I had read about it on the internets somewhere (hehe.. internets)... but it was nice to watch a big documentary on it. good stuff. Grandma was in the kitchen with all her friends play'n domino's anyways.
Scheduled my cisco exam to recertify for my ccna for the 16th. I need about a day or so to prepare really, need to get a hold of my old teacher see if i can get the material from him just to review. Really the only thing i want to go over is the acl syntax.. I think thats all i really can't remember at the moment, and its not hard. I also want to talk to him about being a sponsor for my CCNP, the next step up after CCNA.
I got a call too form some lady in NY, about a dsl install job here in Orlando. $35 per install, i get about 4-5 installs a day.. not too bad. The catch was, I work alone, need all my own tools, absolutely zero training, and no mileage or gas reimbursement, so i turned it down. I have no problem working alone, or minimal training, but going out to do a job your first day, regardless of what you know, is kind of scary all by yourself. I could do it, but i never did wiring all by myself, and the fact that they stick you out there without even some sort of guidance seemed kind of fishy to me. Oh well, only my first offer, and they contacted me, it wasn't a place sought out. I applied to a bunch of new places on Monday, so we'll see where that goes.
For now, just play'n video games and watch tv, while i wait for all the places i've contacted to get intouch with me.
