Mastro Subaru Car Show
Went to Tampa this afternoon for the Mastro Subaru Car show. Was posted on my msg board, and since i don't know anyone around here, it was a good way to start meeting people, the fact that they were subaru owners was a bonus. So i got there right after 12:00 noon, parked talked to one guy, he told me i could pull up and park on the bricks and be in the show. So I did. They had free food (hooters wings) and pop, gave away prizes, and 2 dyno runs away. I didn't win the dyno run, but I won some other stuff. T-shirts, and a toy car of the EasyStreet 9sec WRX. They Judged the show, gave away 4 honorable mentions (small prize) and then 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. To my surprise i won 3RD! Thought it was pretty cool.. nice trophy too. Picked up some things from the dealer while i was there, watched the dyno runs on the 2 winners cars, and left for home around 4 ish. Pretty good day.
