Off school today sick. :/ Sore throat, cough and a cold. :/ Kill me now.
But, on the cheery side, that does mean I get an extra day to a) sleep, b) do my ICT coursework, c) draw and d) read Harry/Draco fanfiction. I'm playing in so many fandoms rn that it's getting to be a bit of a mindfuck when I switch from Arthur/Eames fic in one tab to Arthur/Merlin in another and then to Harry/Draco in another (where they use the word "Merlin" instead of "God/Christ" >.>). MINDFUCKERY, I TELL YOU. 8)
I've been addicted to reading the Sacrifices Arc series these past weekend. It's basically the Harry Potter books re-written as if Harry had a twin brother called Connor who was the one to defeat Voldemort as a baby, and then if Harry was sorted into Slytherin and became BFFs with Draco Malfoy. :3 It's really quite amazing, although the slash (which doesn't come until later in Book 4) is in no way the focus of the story -- which is usually not my thing at all, but this series has kept me entranced. I do warn you, though; the entire series is over 3,010k (yes, 3,010,000!) words long, split into 7 books. >.> It's bloody impressive, let me tell you! And I have a definite thing for Slytherin!Harry, not to mention her interpretation of Harry. I strongly disliked Harry in the JKR series, and only really kept on reading for the plethora of other characters and the amazing universe she created, but Lightning on the Wave's Harry is definitely one I can get behind. I just started Book 5 and highly doubt that I'll be reading much else for a couple of weeks. :3
I have a huge number of tabs open rn, and so much for me still to read as well as do, so this entry won't be much longer. >.> Basically, I just wanted to complain about my brain and how it makes me procrastinate even when I'm so busy that even when I'm procrastinating I'm stressing about procrastinating and--- yeah. *headdesk* I really need to nip this in the bud. I haven't even started on the art for novel_bigbang , but I don't know why as I'm actually really excited for it and have a shitload of ideas for it. >.>;; I also don't know why all my ideas for inception_bang aren't working how I want them to -- again, I'm really excited for Zero, my amnesia!fic, and know what I want to have happen in it now, but I keep wanting to write Eames!backstory fic which is completely shapeless and pointless and nameless and plotless and weird and--- *dies*
