A handful of Arthur/Eames fic recs
Das Vorbewusste -- fic by anon (AFAIK)
weatherfront (thank you,
meiface ). SO HOT. Yet it has a distinct lack of porn; just Eames being smart and Arthur going ♥__♥
Towards Zero -- a fic by mirabella. Fantastic read and slightly dreamlike in its style.
Now for some Eames love! ♥
NB: This was very much inspired by
bookshop 's fantastic meta

The vibe I got from Eames the entire movie was that he was gay. I'm not entirely sure why -- it wasn't like he acted camp or stared at guys other than Arthur, but seconds into his first scene I turned to my friend and said "betting on he's gay". xD And that was before the darling and the Arthur-pestering. xD
I like the idea of Cobb/Ariadne in as much as she's sort of taken and intrigued by him and he's taken by her and her brilliance and sweetness. :) I think that the way he let her in so quickly (well, relatively quickly) was more to do with needing to advance the plot, though. :P I do like the idea of Cobb and Ariadne having a sex-less love affair. :DD
Arthur/Ariadne was cute but it seemed a bit forced, tbh; there was very little chemistry there, despite both the characters and actors being awesome. :) I like to think that Arthur was shaken by Eames being back and so tried to distract himself with Ariadne but it didn't work. :D Then he and Eames get (back) together -- because they are totally ex's -- and Arthur and Ariadne become the best of friends. :DD

I got the same vibe from him, to tell you the truth, but it didn't hit me until he started in with pigtail pulling. And in all honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it's later revealed that he does indeed play for the other team. Hell, JGL himself did an interview recently where the interviewer asked if Eames was gay or just a flirty Brit, and JGL replied with, "it's never specified but he is British".
I'm very open when it comes to Ariadne/Cobb because I can see it going either way: a sex-less love affair or a full blown romance later on in their lives.
Agreed. I wouldn't put too much weight in Arthur/Ariadne though because 1) it was just a kiss, 2) it happened in a dream, 3) there was absolutely nothing else in the film to suggest they were actually interested in one-another, and 4) Arthur didn't even look at her. Sure, he gave her a sideways glance when the deed was done, but that was it.
