I spent most of the day working on the family calendar, updating things in my computer and fitting in the next 6 months of Jobie events to the schedule. Rah rah... how boring can you get. The plus is that I have a new battery for my MacBook and I can work without being plugged in. Let's hear it for mobility!
I got ahold of the book stores for jobie fundraiser dates, we'll be wrapping gifts at Barnes and Noble in the mall on December 24th. We are going to be SWAMPED. I can only hope that out tip jar gets filled up. Some how, we're the only family in the Bethel that can figure out how to hold a successful fundraising activity. Two giftwrap dates in December and I'm hoping for at least $200 for the Bethel. It seems that since G and I were "active" on the council the Bethel funds have considerably dwindled. If we're going to keep this group running, we've got to bring some cash into the coffers.
Hubby was extra productive and produced homemade bruise balm and lip balm this week! Yay hubby! So now we have all these little tins and tubes of stuff hanging around the house. If anyone wants a sample let me know, I'm sure I can wrangle a few away from him to ship off. He also made a ton of beef jerky, half of which he's sending off to a co-worker who had sent him a check so he would make it for her. How cool is that? The other half was for us and it was gone within two days of being finished. LOL!! His next big project for his herbalisim class is to make a unique tea blend.
