I'm trying not to tire myself out today. Last day off I had I did stuff around the house and felt wiped the hell out afterward. Evan is currently being the good little housewife and moping the floors, vacuuming, and setting up the changing table we just bought. While he's doing that, I'm sitting on the couch, enjoying some fine pizza and soda, and watching Blood Diner. A silly little horror movie I'd seen the cover of a zillion times at the video store but for some reason never rented. I'm quite glad I'm finally getting around to it. It's adorable.
Click to viewI'm in a goddamn zombie mood today. I'd been thinking about replaying Resident Evil 2 for ages, then Evan told me the PsP has it downloadable, then he BOUGHT one for me, so most of my spare time is playing that wonderful game. Now all I want to watch is zombie movies.
I do feel kind of bad I'm being a total lazy shit while Evan is slaving away, but, really, unless we have another kid, there won't be many more chances for me to have a perfectly fine reason to be this lazy. Besides, doing stuff with this kid squirming and kneeing me all the time makes moving uncomfortable. I think it's a must I sit on the couch longer with more pizza and another horror flick. Yes.
10:50pm edit: my tv is kinda shitty. it's like it's too sharpened and i can't reduce it, even when adjusting the sharpness. i guess i should have spent the extra $30 for a name brand? :(
later edit: nope, not shitty. it's just an hd tv and not all the channels we get are in hd. hd and dvds looks just fine. lame. oh and it's only 720p; whereas the tv in the living room is 1080p. that's what i get for being cheap. and evan figured out a different cable actually improved the output slightly. thanks handsome.
